Goodbye Ordinary

Day 17: Feel the Fire

Posted on: April 17, 2013

I’m not quite sure what it was in the past few days that got me… but something got me.

My arms feel like jello… that is on fire AND trapped in a torture device. (Okay, they aren’t really THAT bad, but they are SORE). I can feel it every time I move.

Not to mention, I can already feel my thighs turning to jello after tonight’s practice.

I didn’t make it to the morning class this morning. I even went to bed early (for me) last night, but I was exhausted and when my alarm went off this morning, I was practicing ahimsa and chose to go back to sleep. I wasn’t ready for yoga.

Instead, I went to the 5:30 class after work. It was great. I’ve missed those faces! Class tonight was a slow, but intense cross-train workout. Like a campfire, prepped with kindling, then bigger logs until BAM the fire is ablaze and huge. If only we had s’mores during savasana! 😉

Back to the mat in the morning!

Namaste,

Brin
